I own 5 Velvibra shapewears. 1 black, 3 skin color and 1 strapless that I received today. I actually had 6 but I used it so much and constantly sewing it that I got rid of it. I still continue to sew all my shapewears even the one I got today without even wearing it. I've tried shecurve and I hate it. Love the Velvibra but I've already spent about $200+ and they rip. I see bigger butt women trying them on and they don't rip. Does anyone else go through this?
I like the fit. I normally wear 2X and that's what I ordered. Don't be tempted to get a size smaller than you wear. This should fit you tightly to smooth the bulges but nothing can make you a size smaller.Yes, it needs to be tried on a couple of times and go slowly when you do. Don't wait until you're getting dressed for the party to try this on for the first time, it needs to relax a bit.Well made and sturdy, I like the appearance of the leotard. It hugs your curves nicely, doesn't fall down, and stays up and secure all evening due to the additional silicone strips. The leotard has differential stretch, I mean it stretches easier in one direction and is more resistant in the other. This says to me that this was thoughtfully designed from the material up rather than just cutting a suit from any elastic material on the market. Works well for me.
I like that you can take the straps off and you can wear it as a half bra Shapewear,you do have a open gusset so you can go to the bathroom. My pictures I have one with my shoulders out and I put this shape we're on. The other dresses I kept the straps on it fits tight it holds your stomach in. I love that it's a versatile shapewear you can leave the straps on or you can take them off that's the best part of this shapewear for me. So if you're looking for a nice shapewear-(Velvibra) is the one to get you would love it just like me.
I ordered a size large body suit based on the size chart. My measurements are 42" bust, 32" waist, 42" hips, 22"upper-thighs, 19" mid-thighs. I couldn't get the body suit over my hips during the first attempt. My skin felt like it was getting friction burns from trying to force wiggle my way into it. I tried again a little later and realized that it's easier to get in by easing into it and not letting it get scrunched or rolled like panty hose. This shapewear gives a nice smooth silhouette, but it felt uncomfortably snug in the top bust band and not as snug as I'd like in the thigh area. The bust and booty areas have good stretch so I didn't look flattened out. There's a small amount of rubber around the underarm area of the band to prevent the top from sliding down, but there's no rubber around the thighs which is a plus for those of us with sensitive skin.The overall quality is good, and I only noticed one stray thread that needed trimmed. The open gusset is convenient because it takes some work to get this body suit on and off. I probably could have sized up to an XL for a more comfortable bust fit, but I'm glad I didn't try to size down to a medium.
